SAT Calendar Dates and Deadlines: from August 2025 –June 2026

Registration is open for all students for the entire 2023–24 testing year.

If you are a low-income student, you may be eligible for a fee waiver. To apply for a fee waiver, you will need to submit documentation of your financial need.

All deadlines expire at 11:59 p.m. ET, U.S.

Additional fees are charged for these services:

Additional Registration Fees for international students

Canceling a Registration

If you must cancel your registration, you can do so in your My SAT account. If you cancel by Thursday 11:59 p.m. ET before test day, you'll receive a full refund of your registration fee but will be charged a cancellation fee:

• If you cancel before the regular cancellation deadline, the fee is $25.
• If you cancel after the regular cancellation deadline, by Thursday 11:59 p.m. ET before test day, the fee is $35.

If you cancel your registration and later decide you do want to take the test on that date, you'll need to register again.

Instructions for cancel registration:

1. Sign in to your My SAT account and go to the registration you want to cancel.
2. From the I would like to menu, select Cancel Registration.
   You can cancel the registration or register for a new date first.

Score Service Fees for international students

Fees are charged for some score-related services.

If you need your SAT scores sent faster than regular delivery, you can order rush reporting for an additional fee:

• Rush reports are sent within 1–4 business days (not counting holidays and weekends).
• Rush reports are available only for scores that were already released.
• Rush reports can't be changed or canceled.

Getting a Fee Waiver

If you think you're eligible, talk to your school counselor about getting a fee waiver code from them or, starting in fall 2023, request a fee waiver directly from College Board.

If you choose to request a fee waiver directly from College Board, please:

• Review the eligibility criteria.
• Be mindful of registration deadlines and apply for fee waivers early so you can apply those benefits in a timely manner.
• Be prepared to share the contact information of an adult who can verify your eligibility.
• Talk to your school counselor if you have questions about the process.

Homeschooled Students

If you're homeschooled, you can get a fee waiver by contacting a local high school counselor or, starting in fall 2023, you can request a fee waiver directly from College Board.
